Good Morning!!

Gustav rained on me all the way to work this morning.  It really wasn’t that bad, but it sure is humid outside.  I’m ready for fall weather. 

When I got to work this morning, I had gotten emails from Lee, Joey, and Steve about how much fun they had over the weekend. It was fun.  I know next year will be a lot better sans hurricane. Lord willing!!

I am so looking forward to next week.  Friday, I go on vacation for a whole week, September 7-13, 2008.  I decided to take my vacation the week of my birthday, which is on Tuesday, September 9^th.  This will be the first time in 5 years that I have been able to take off a FULL week and I can’t wait.  There is so much I want to do.  I mainly want to rest and hang out with friends.  The only thing that I have planned is on Friday is to go to Memphis and see the B52s at the Memphis Botanic Gardens and then on Saturday go to the Cooper Young Festival.  The rest of the week will be just “shooting from the hip.”  I’m sure that I will be going to Tupelo on Tuesday to celebrate my 28^th year of life with friends. 

 After next week though, I will be taking a hiatus from “going out” and everything because I’ll be working with my family on Christmas in Cottonplant.  My uncle, Steven, has already been putting up some of the faux Christmas trees and we will be starting the light shows and inflatables very soon.  Do you realize it’s only 13 weeks until the day after Thanksgiving?  So we are going to be busy real soon.

I’m also getting ready for Halloween.  (Can’t you tell that I’m crazy about holidays?)   I am going as a sexy Robin Hood this year.  I’m looking forward to it.  The past few years I’ve gone as something country (like gay redneck, gay scarecrow, or a southern Baptist preacher), so I’m proud I’m going to go outside the box.  My friend Chris is having a Halloween party and his parties are always SO much fun!!  So I can’t wait.   

Other news about me…I’ve met someone!!  YAY!!  I actually been talking to him since last Monday.  His name is Kenneth and he is so sweet and adorable.  He’s from Alabama (only about an hour away) and he’ll be 26 in December.  Every time we talk, we always have a good time.  We are supposed to be meeting up soon, so please have your fingers crossed.
