Good Morning!

Man, coming to work was awful this morning.  It was raining and the wind was blowing so hard.  It was hard to keep my little Toyota Corolla in the road.  I hope that it doesn’t do this next week whenever I’m on vacation.

I tried to watch the GOP convention to listen to Hurricane Palin talk.  I tried to have an open mind and a subjective attitude, but I just couldn’t listen to that verbal garbage that was coming out of her mouth.  I mean the only thing that she has going for her is her looks.  She could care less about the lower 48 states because she is in cahoots with the Alaskan Independence Party and they want to secede from the Union.  I have two reasons why Sen. McCain chose her:  1.  He thought he could get the women vote and 2 that it would be better to push through Congress a oil drilling bill for ANWR.  Now, with all the intelligence that McCain is suppose to have, why on God’s green earth did he pick someone with so little experience.  All she has ever done is be the mayor of a small town and 22 months as Governor.  All McCain wants to do is to make more money for the oil corporations.  Sorry to go off on a rant here, but it was just evident what she was trying to do.  Also, about the whole GOP convention itself, all they have been doing is pandering about the Hurricane Gustav and throwing cheap shots at the Democratic Party.  I hope that America gets it together on this because if we don’t we will have 4 more years of a failed Bush administration.  During the Democratic convention, they stuck to the issues and did not throw cheap shots at McCain or any of the other Republicans.  Anyhow, that has been my rant of the Republicans so far…I’m sure with the upcoming debate at the University of Mississippi, I will have a lot to compliment and rebuke then as well.

About the new guy in my life, the only thing bad about him is that he is Republican.  (I know your reading this Kenneth) LOL I guess opposites do attract on some levels.  He’s a real nice guy and we do have a lot in common.  I can’t wait to see where this new adventure will take me and how far it will go.
